Jorge L. Marquina is the founder and principal attorney of Marquina Law Offices. Mr. Marquina was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on February 27, 1973. He holds a Bachelor's Degree (1995) from Loyola University, New Orleans, La., and a Juris Doctor (1999) from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico.

He is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico and to the First Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals.

Since the very beginning of his career, Mr. Marquina has specialized in torts litigation, with an emphasis in product liability and breach of warranty defense litigation. He has represented and acted as consultant to major automotive manufacturing companies such as BMW, Volkswagen, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Mazda and Chrysler, to name a few. Mr. Marquina has also actively participated in advisory groups involved in the drafting and implementation of related local regulation and laws.
